This guide explains how to add a new risk to the Risk Centre. You are not limited to the risks Safe365 suggests. Any risk that matters to your organisation can be created, in any category, at any time.

When you add a risk you record its Title, Risk Description, Risk Category, and Risk Owner, then rate it. Likelihood and Consequence combine to give the Risk Rating (L x C), and the Controls and Effectiveness fields (Hierarchy of Controls, Existing Controls, Controlled Risk Likelihood, Controlled Risk Consequence, and Control Effectiveness) give the Controlled Risk Rating, showing the residual risk once your controls are in place. If the category you need does not exist yet, you can add one using the + button beside Risk Category, and you can use Link to if the risk relates to an existing report. Risks can be edited after they are created.

  1. Click Add New Risk.
  2. Enter a risk title.
  3. Select a Risk Category.
  4. Select a Risk Owner.
  5. Select a Likelihood.
  6. Select a Consequence.
  7. Select a Hierarchy of Controls.
  8. Select a Controlled Risk Likelihood.
  9. Select a Controlled Risk Consequence.
  10. Click Create Risk.
